Hi, I’m Yvette – your friendly Scotland travel expert! I’m a full-time content creator and freelance journalist, and it’s essentially my job to travel around Scotland and write about it.
I’m originally from New Zealand (‘Kiwi’ is a term for a New Zealander). In 2018, I chased the stories of my ancestors to Scotland, fell in love with a Scotsman, got married and decided to make Scotland my permanent home.
I have been everywhere in Scotland – including 40+ Scottish islands. I’ve also solo hiked the length of the country! I love helping people to plan their trips here, and I truly understand first-time visitors to this country because I once was one too!
