I like to think of Keysearch as my blogging roadmap- I would be lost without it. In a nutshell, Keysearch is a keyword research tool, but it also has SO many more functions. You can spy on your competitors, track keywords, and even use it for YouTube keyword research. Keysearch is also one of the most affordable keyword research tools. If you want to take SEO seriously, you need Keysearch.

Email marketing: Flodesk
When I reached my subscriber limit with Mailchimp [they allow you to have 2000 subscribers for free before you have to pay for the service] I knew I wanted to switch to a more user-friendly option, and I decided on Flodesk.
Flodesk is a women-owned and led company that is fairly new to the email marketing world, and I absolutely love it!
The interface is minimalist and sophisticated, it comes with lots of gorgeous email templates for you to use, and best of all it’s one of the most affordable email marketing platforms out there. There’s also a super helpful Facebook group run by the CEO’s you can join if you need any tech help.
Though it’s not a Black Friday deal, with my discount code, you can get 50% off and pay just $19 per month.
Website hosting: Siteground
I’ve been using Siteground as my hosting for the past 4 years. Sure, it’s pricier than some hosting options out there, but my blog is my business, and choosing a good host is one of the most important decisions to make. My website has had zero downtime since I’ve been with Siteground, and their support is AMAZING. You can jump on their online chat and ask them anything [even if you think your question is a bit daft!].

Pinterest scheduling: Tailwind
Pinterest is a MASSIVE time suck, and the scheduling app Tailwind saves me a helluva lot of precious time. Tailwind has a lot of super handy features, including a scheduler which posts your pins at optimum times, and Tribes, where your pins can get shared by high-quality Pinterest accounts. If you want to increase your website traffic with Pinterest, Tailwind is a must.
Psst. Be sure to read my guide which contains my exact Pinterest strategy.

Photo editing: Adobe Creative Cloud
I love Adobe Creative Cloud for all my photo editing, video editing and design purposes. You might have heard of Photoshop and Lightroom- these are Adobe products and you can subscribe to their photography suite or to all of their apps including Premiere Pro and Rush , Illustrator and InDesign [graphic design] and Audition . I subscribe to the entire suite because I use most of the apps, and it’s quite handy to have everything in one place.
Website design: Elementor
I’ve used Elementor to design this website, my other blog Kiwi & Haggis, and also the Secrets of Scotland website. Elementor is a drag and drop website builder that allows you to design and build virtually any website you want. I don’t do a lot of coding, so Elementor is great because it’s so visual. It’s super easy to use and I highly recommend the Pro version which comes with a bunch of useful widgets. In case you’re wondering, I use Astra as my theme [the free version] and I use Elementor to build my websites.

Website design: Divi
I also use Divi to build clients websites. It’s a cheaper option than Elementor, as you can buy a lifetime subscription, saving you a lot of money in the long term. It works in a very similar way to Elementor, and it is one of the most popular WordPress themes in the world. I learned website design using Divi- so it’s great for beginners. They haven’t announced their Black Friday discount yet- but it’s coming soon!
