Hello! I’m so glad you’ve landed on this page. I work with tourism businesses that want to make the world a better place, and give people incredible and unique experiences in Scotland.

***Please note this is my full-time job, and I am not able to accept free gifts in exchange for promotion on my social media channels or work for free. I offer a professional service, which includes photography, videography, editing, SEO research, researching your brand, copywriting, and much, much more!

I also do not accept paid link placement (which is against Google’s policy).

I am proud to operate my business with honesty and integrity and have a loyal following who book based on my recommendations because they trust my advice. My ROI is excellent and businesses that I work with receive a high-degree of coverage that lasts longer than ad placement in more traditional forms of media (magazine, print media, online directories, etc).

I am happy to send you my Media Kit and Rate Card- just get in touch by emailing yvette@wayfaringkiwi.com

I look forward to working with you! ***

ABOUT ME

I’m originally from New Zealand but travelled the world before settling down in Scotland. I live in West Lothian with my husband and our dog, Angus.

My first love is adventure, and a very close second is travel- and these are at the heart of Wayfaring Kiwi. Over the years some of my adventures have included:

+ Learning to snowboard and completing 2 ski seasons in Canada
+ Living and travelling in a van in the Canadian Rockies
+ Horse riding for over 20 years
+ Hiking the length of Scotland solo
+ White water rafting, caving, bungy jumping, via ferrata and much more!

I’ve been on a few adventures but I don’t classify myself as an athlete or a badass with nerves of steel. In fact, I consider myself to be the average female traveller, and if I can do something, anyone else can.

Making memories and having a good story to tell is more valuble to me than spending my money on objects, which is why I push myself to always try something new.

For the last 10 years I have worked hard to develop myself as a travel writer and marketing guru in the travel and tourism industry. Before I became a full time professional travel blogger I worked in the following roles:

+ Journalist
+ Editor
+ International Travel Agent
+ Website Designer
+ Digital Marketing Manager [in tourism]

So you can see I have an understanding of the travel and tourism industry on both the inside and outside! During this time I have won several awards (as you’ll see below) and worked with many businesses to achieve their visibility goals.

How I can help your business:

  • Blog posts on Wayfaring Kiwi or your website (written with SEO in mind)
  • Copywriting
  • Photography (I shoot with my Sony A6500)
  • Videography
  • Social Media campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • Instagram takeovers/ promotions
  • Interviews in any medium (print, radio, online)
  • Public Speaking
  • Press Trips

I write on topics about Scotland such as:

  • hiking and adventure travel
  • sustainable travel
  • travelling with a dog
  • couples travel
  • solo travel
  • staycations
  • general travel in Scotland
  • and more

If you’d like to know more, email me at yvette@wayfaringkiwi.com and I can provide you with my media kit and rate card.
